In 21 years I didn't learn about risk in a classroom. I learned it by living it. I survived market crashes and liquidations in leveraged markets. I invested in new industries without a map. I held up under the pressure of low liquidity and overexposure. I got hit with rug pulls and scams. I suffered betrayals from people close to me, robberies, threats to my safety, and a world that changed overnight with the pandemic. Every blow cost me money, time or trust, and each one left a lesson no book was going to give me.
